C. Necessary documents:

(a) Simple Luggage Taxation:

1. Apply by the passenger (in person):

(1) Original customs receipt for retained baggage.
(2) Original passenger's passport.

2. Apply by an authorized representative:

(1) Original customs receipt for retained baggage.
(2) Original power of attorney for custom clearance.
(3) Photocopy of passenger's passport.
(4) Original identifications of deputy.

(b) Formal Import Clearance:

1. Original customs receipt for retained baggage.
2. Import declaration form.
3. Invoice /Commercial invoice. (Signed by the seller)
4. Packing List. (Required if more than 2 cartons in one case.)
5. Photocopy of passenger's passport.
6. Power of attorney for declaration.
7. Statement of transference for goods. (Required if the goods belongs to the company.)
8. Formal company seal and owner's seal. (Required if the goods belongs to the company.)
9. Import Permit. (Required if total value exceeds USD 20,000.)
10. Others - subject to laws and regulations governing corresponding articles.

In case of any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version, the latter shall prevail.
