Introduction of Clearance Division I

The principal job of Clearance Division I, Taipei Customs is to process customs clearance of general import/export cargo in the following restricted areas around the Taoyuan International Airport. Import warehouses include: Taiwan Air cargo Terminal warehouse, Evergreen Air cargo import warehouse, and Fedex Express Terminal warehouse. Export warehouses include: Taiwan Air cargo Terminal warehouse and Evergreen Air cargo import warehouse.

Our main tasks conclude: import/export cargo examination, tariff classification and valuation, IPR infringement cases, export cargo boarder control, advance tariff ruling, post-release duty payment, Authorized Economic Operator, specific duty exemption cases, and duty deposit refund.

We also organize seminars such as customs policy illustration, import cargo tariff classification, and advance tariff ruling to help stakeholders understand cargo clearance procedures. To offer a safer and trade-facilitated environment, there are more approaches have taken, such as Temporary admission, on-line duty payment, web-based goods declaration, computerization of administrative fee collection, deposit refund through T/T, and customs ePayment system.
