Category X1, X2 and X3 of the import express consignments and category X6 and X7 of the export consignments may be declared in simplified form. However, the following circumstances are not eligible for the simplified declaration:

The consignment requires license, quarantine, inspection, etc.

There is a need to apply for duplicates of the entry for duty refund, duty offset, or bonding procedures.

The consignment is of re-importation or re-exportation that the original export or import declaration(s) needs to be written off.

The consignment is eligible for duty exemption or reduction pursuant to the Customs Act, other relevant regulations, and supplementary notes of the Import Tariff.

The consignment does not fall into the G1 category of import declaration or the G5 category of export declaration.

The consignment is subject to special safeguard measures announced by the Ministry of Finance.
