What goods can I apply for Customs release along the planeside, and how much Customs service fee shall be collected?

1.In accordance with Article 14 of the Rule of Examination of Import and Export Goods, import and export goods eligible for Customs release along the planeside are: fresh goods, perishable products, live animals and plants, time-sensitive newspapers and documents, dangerous goods, radioactive products, human remains or ashes, bulk cargos, as well as other in emergency or necessary goods.

2.In accordance with Article 3, 9 and 10 of the Regulations Governing Collection of Customs Service Fees, imported goods with duty-paid value equivalent to or exceeding USD5,000 will be collected NTD1,300 as special cargo inspection fee. The fee will be reduced to NTD650 if the value is not more than USD5,000. However, the special cargo inspection fee is exempted on documents, magazines, journals and newspapers weighing (gross weight) under 20kg.
