While a dispute arises on the country of origin of imported textile products that are domestically made, how will Customs deal with it?

1.Regarding the outsourcing textile products that bear “Made in Taiwan” or other similar characters, if the products comply with the relative rules of country of origin and have been exclusively approved by the Bureau of Foreign Trade(MOEA), Customs will release the products after due process.

2.Regarding the domestically made products bearing “Made in Taiwan” that are rejected and returned or bought back, if the importer proves that the products are domestically made and confirmed by Customs, Customs will release the products after due process; the products will otherwise be treated as imported foreign goods.
