Enhancing the weather resistance of passive electronic seals

To enhance container transport safety and cargo integrity, Customs has strengthened the weather resistance of passive electronic seals, improving their waterproof, heat-resistant, and shockproof performance to ensure reliable operation in harsh environments. The new seals meet the high-security standard of CNS 17712 and feature anti-counterfeiting and anti-tampering detection functions, allowing them to replace manual escort and thereby simplify operations and reduce costs.

Customs keeps working with suppliers on technological development to improve seal durability under extreme weather conditions. Field tests show that the upgraded seals significantly reduce weather-related failures and enhance cargo transport security. Customs will continue to adopt advanced technologies to optimize customs clearance efficiency and create a safe and convenient customs clearance environment.
