Customs Detector Dog Teams (DDTs) consistently maintain high performance in combating drug trafficking. In 2023, DDTs intercepted 42 cases of drug smuggling, resulting in the seizure of 204.87 kg of illicit substances. These included 2 cases of Heroin (30.2 kg), 31 cases of Cannabis (125.5 kg), 4 cases of Ketamine (14.7 kg), 3 cases of Amphetamine (30.86 kg), and 2 cases of other substances (3.6 kg). Over the period from 2008 to 2023, DDTs have contributed to the detection of 1,046 drug cases, leading to the confiscation of 12,469 kg of illicit drugs.
