On March 7, DDBTC held the opening ceremony of its first detector dog training course in 2022. Deputy director of the Department of Investigation, Mrs. Tsai, hosted the ceremony. As part of the joint venture in establishing canine force, 2 trainees from the Military Police take part in the training course along with the other 3 from Customs. Deputy director Tsai encouraged all the trainees devote their efforts in learning and refining dog handling-related skills under the instruction from instructors. After finishing the 13-week training, the trainee handlers are expected to graduate from course and bolster the drug detection capability of our country.
