CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATION, MOF Order is hereby given, for the revision of Paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Operation Directions Governing the Customs Procedures for the Examination and Release of the Goods for Maintenance and Consumption on Board Vessels (revised Directions come into force April 8, 2026).
In compliance with the amendments to Article 17 of the Regulations Governing the Customs Clearance and Release of Export Goods, Paragraphs 3 and 4 of these Operational Directions have been amended. The amendment increases the FOB value threshold for an entire batch of ship's specific stores that exporters may be exempted from attaching an export declaration to NT$200,000.
Furthermore, the FOB value threshold for an entire batch of ship's specific stores and provisions required for the crew during the vessel's stay in port or during the voyage after customs clearance, which is exempted from customs-designated alongside-ship inspection, has been raised to NT$50,000. These adjustments aim to reduce operating costs for businesses, expedite cargo customs clearance, and effectively utilize customs personnel.
