Customs Administration of the Ministry of Finance stated that in order to improve transparency and uniformity, the Administration has continued to translate the Classification Decisions and the Compendium of Classification Opinions taken by the WCO/HSC 70th Session, and published it on the website in pdf format for reference or download.

Customs Administration further stated that the classification decisions on specific products includes their related Harmonized System code numbers and, in certain cases, the classification rationale. The Compendium of Classification Opinions includes the most significant/difficult classification decisions taken by the Harmonized System Committee. The Classification Opinions contained in this volume carry the same status as the Explanatory Notes, but refer to specific products.

Finally, Customs Administration stated that it has completed the Chinese translation of the 54th to 70th of the Classification Decisions and the Compendium of Classification Opinions. All translation information can be found on the Customs Port Trade Single Window (CPT Single Window) website (GC441).
