If the imported goods are found to be damaged or the quality or specifications are inconsistent with the original contract after payment of taxes and release, and the foreign manufacturer agrees to compensate or exchange the imported goods, such compensation or exchange of imported goods will be exempt from customs duties.

Imported goods for compensation or exchange should be declared import within six months from the day after the customs approves. If necessary due to facts, you may apply for an extension from the customs before

the expiration of the time limit, but the extension is limited to six months.
