Customs has started application for “the Advanced Ruling of Imported Goods Valuation” system since 1. Sep, 2010. If the importer is not sure which costs should be included in the customs value, they could request the Customs Administration in written form, along with the agreement for sale and purchase, commercial invoice, letter of credit, proof of payment or other necessary documents, before import. The Customs Administration shall reply to the importer in written form within forty-five days following the date of receiving the application.
