The declaration procedures are as follows:

1. On the import declaration form, print “PT” in the column of "Additional code of the CCC code". “PT” stands for Preferential Tariff Treatment.

2. Attach the original copy of the certificate of origin issued by the official agencies of China. And fill in the number of the certificate of origin in column of "the regulating authority designated code".

3. If fail to provide such certificate of origin while making declaration, one can pay a deposit to release the imports. Once the Certificate of Origin is turned in and verified its validity, the deposit will be returned.

4. Importers who fail to complete the above mentioned steps are not qualified for Preferential Tariff Treatment. Belated certificate of origin will not be accepted either.
